Our Employee Health Services team coordinates and implements programs and activities that protect, promote and advocate for the health and safety of our staff. These include medical surveillance programs, immunization/infectious disease screening and health education/counseling. The Employee Health Services team also participates on committees and projects relevant to employee health, staff safety, infection control and environmental health and safety.
As the Employee Health Coordinator, you will uphold Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s goal of caring for and protecting its employees. You will coordinate and implement all EE Health programs/activities that protect, promote and advocate for the health and safety of our staff, including Medical Surveillance Programs, immunization/infectious disease screening and health education/counseling. You will also participate on committees relevant to employee health, staff safety, infection control, and environmental health and safety; ensure compliance, maintain confidentiality, protect organizational assets and exhibit ethics and integrity; adhere to applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, accreditation and licensing requirements, policies and procedures; and report/resolve non-compliance issues. Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heart Saver – AED CPR cards. Three (3) years of Nursing experience including one (1) year of experience in clinic, community /public health, occupational/environmental/health, or related area of public health care. Previous experience performing health assessments and administering vaccines. Valid driver's license and abstract. Current Hawai’i auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Community Health/Public Health, Industrial, Occupational Health or related field. Certification in occupational health, case management or related area or in special testing (i.e. hearing, pulmonary function testing). Experience in hospital employee health or occupational health program. Experience in program development and/or project development.
