The Sr Manager, Channel Finance provides an outstanding opportunity to gain broad experience in Commercial Finance and be the main point of contact for the commercial teams on the respective channels, in this case Non-Commercial, C-Store/Deli and Ecommerce.
This individual will have exposure to the full P&L of these channels and will participate in Channel/BU wide projects and initiatives. There will be opportunities to contribute on contract negotiations, pricing opportunities and in fact any customer discussions related to the channels.
The individual will be responsible for understanding the results, driving initiatives with the commercial team and creating a positive impact on the channels performance. There will be significant interaction with the Senior Leadership team, sales and marketing experts.
The Sr. Manager also plays a key role on designing and running rituals and routines within its respective channel, therefore collaborating with senior leadership and the commercial teams.
Analytical support on Channel Customer negotiations, providing financial context and support for crucial pinpoints of the negotiations
Eventual customer interaction to present above points
Leading price planning and execution, coordinating efforts with sales and marketing teams and across all categories of the business
Leading initiatives to optimize our trade spend (ie. lump sum spent) with customers in his/her channel, as well as planning and tracking dollars spent on a regular basis
Support BU planning and forecasting processes including monthly Kraft Heinz Business Management cycle (monthly performance review, gap closing, etc.), major forecasts, Strategic Plan, and Annual Operating Plan
Significant ad hoc opportunities for leadership and analytics
Opportunity to further develop managerial skills (one direct report currently)
BS in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
Forge skills preferred, FiT and SAP skills desired
Previous experience with Commercial Finance, specifically in Foodservice given complexity of the business model
Excellent Excel skills required
Prior FP&A experience preferred
Demonstrated strong analytical skills and business acumen
Methodology and organized mindset, with clear capacity for simplification, required
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and think independently
