Overview
We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and architecture, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. We are an Architectural Design Firm located in Tribeca New York, and currently have an immediate opening for a part time or freelance Architectural Designer/Drafter with knowledge in high-end residential design. We are looking for detail oriented individuals with drafting skills and designing sensibility.
Responsibilities
- Create architectural designs based on client specifications
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
-Develop detailed drawings of furniture for upholstery and millwork
-Develop floor plans and interior related
- Utilize ArchiCAD, Bluebeam, and other relevant software for design and drafting
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design
- Ability to sketch and visualize design concepts effectively
- Knowledge of interior design principles
- Experience in project scheduling and coordination
•Must be able to understand drawing standards in an architectural setting
•Highly organized
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Adobe package, Microsoft Office softwares and other relevant architectural software
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
