Prepares and maintains a seating chart for each shift and is familiar with the rotation order.
Greets and seats customers in a courteous and timely manner as they enter the restaurant and/or communicates delays in seating and starts a waiting list.
Maintain proper uniform and appearance at all times.
Keep windows and entry doors clean.
Checks overall cleanliness of restrooms on a regular basis.
Make sure you have enough menus printed for the shift.
Accommodates special needs of customers and communicates any needs to appropriate staff.
Assists dining room staff during rush periods by cleaning tables whenever possible.
Answers telephone in a professional manner, takes ?to-go-orders? and answers customer inquiries.
Communicates customer and/or employee difficulties to management.
Applies knowledge of full menu and other restaurant information such as restaurant.
Enters ?to-go-orders? into computer and prints receipt as well as prepares to-go items necessary to fill order along with condiments, other food items and utensils.
Completes opening and closing duties in accordance with approved procedures.
Communicates any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Enjoys and maintains a high quality of life, has a willingness to learn, makes friends easily and contributes to a winning restaurant environment.
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and team members.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
