Dentistry of the Carolinas - SouthPark is looking for a Patient Front Desk Administrator. The ideal candidate must be very professional in both appearance and manner, as well as cheerful and well spoken. While you will be expected to learn the systems and procedures we have in place, you will also be given the freedom to take responsibility for the position and handle various situations on your own.
Excellent computer skills are a must as you will be expected to learn and be proficient in new software quickly. The job’s biggest challenge is handling the large volume of patient check-ins and phone calls. It will be your job to help soothe those situations and maintain professionalism and courtesy at all times.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who wants to become truly invested in Dentistry of the Carolinas and has a drive to succeed. It’s more than being knowledgeable and getting job done – you must be able to make a genuine connection with patients. Being robotic or negative will not work in this position which often includes intense multi-tasking with no downtime. Intelligence and maturity is required.

The details:
Dental, front office experience
Experience with Dentrix software
Possesses a four-year college degree
Patient communications related to appointments, insurance, treatment plans, questions, finances & HIPAA privacy act
Greeting patients
Collecting payments
Verifying patient insurance and financial information
Answering high-volume phones
Experience creating and maintaining a clinical schedule
Computer functions (Microsoft Office or similar)
Ability to operate office machinery to fax, photocopy, scan, and handle multi-line phone system
Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving
Provides excellent customer service
Has a positive attitude and willingness to help others

We are seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk Administrative employee who is dependable, organized and professional. We desire someone who can efficiently and effectively solve problems and facilitate team work through example.
This position is full-time Monday-Thursday with select Fridays. Compensation is based upon experience and a competitive benefits package is included with offer of employment.
