Director of Corporate Reporting and Analysis

This role is responsible for directing (i) the reporting, analysis and commentary of the Company’s Actual internal and external consolidated financial statements (ii) reporting and analytic process improvements and enhancements (iii) accounting supported by the team (i.e. stock based compensation, pensions) (iv) provide customer service related to reporting and analysis and (v) special accounting and reporting projects as required.

The position:

  • is required to be knowledgeable of US GAAP and SEC requirements
  • is required to use high level of judgment in support of areas of responsibility and customer service
  • is responsible for directing programs and policies to assure the financial statements are in conformity to US GAAP
  • works in conjunction with other corporate teams (i.e. FP&A, Tax, Technical Accounting, Investor Relations) to provide direction to affiliates, brands and/or business units to assure compliance of consistent data to drive reporting integrity
  • maintains and monitors internal control processes in support of SOX requirements for all areas of responsibility
  • is required to work and collaborate with leadership and peers throughout the Company- interaction with the Assistant Corporate Controller and Corporate Controller is expected
  • assists with supporting our external auditors relating to reporting and application of various accounting topics as appropriate
  • communicates with multi-functional teams throughout the organization to help coordinate analytics and reporting relating to P&L, balance sheet and cash flow information as well as supplemental financial reporting

At this level, day to day tasks require the person to work independently with guidance of the Executive Director, able to make appropriate decisions, be self-directed and managed. This position is always tasked with using superior judgment and integrity to carry out all directives relating to US GAAP and accounting matters. The position provides direction, insight and guidance to accomplish such objectives to the staff. The Director is responsible for decisions regarding the responsibilities of his/her direct reports with consultation of the Executive Director.


  • University degree in Accounting
  • CPA required, MBA a plus
  • Big Four public accounting experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a public company
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, ideally with a mixture of Accounting and FP&A
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems, Hyperion CPM Systems experience a plus
  • Strong technical (US GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting) and analytical skills
  • Organizational Awareness - having sufficient knowledge of the organization to identify problems and opportunities
  • Analytical skills including the ability to analyze complex technical accounting requirements including US GAAP and statutory requirements
  • Ability to reach conclusions independently analyzing alternatives
  • Strong writing skills in support of analytical commentary
  • Strong communication skills, must be able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situations
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with Senior Management
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word Skills
  • Strong interpersonal & staff development skills including:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year
