At Bose, we are obsessed with what matters most – the little details that make a big difference and the big details that astonish. Our Creative Services Operations team is looking for a passionate and energetic Creative Resource Planner to join our Product & Communications Design group.
The resource planning function provides value to the organization by ensuring optimal resourcing levels are maintained to meet forecasted client demand globally. This position is required to manage and support resource planning for all creative and production staff through project and resource forecasting, capacity planning and staff utilization reporting.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Implementing and managing creative and production capacity planning and forecasting models to strategically forecast supply and demand requirements for upcoming project scheduling.
Forecasting future and ongoing resource challenges with the ability to proactively bring data driven proposals for contractor staffing utilization.
Partnering with Leaders and Creative Project Manager to monitor and track key performance indicators to identify over/under utilization patterns and/or deviation from expected results
Partnering with stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor standard operating procedures for budging, planning and committing project resources.
Managing communication around shifting priorities with key stakeholders to ensure positive workflow, escalating exceptions and issues to leadership, as necessary.
Reporting on the day-to-day resource management requests, tracking availability of resources and working with Creative Project Managers to quickly and effectively escalate and resolve deviation from project plans.
Responsibility for developing quality, on-time and accurate reporting using resource management-related tools.
Working with Process Design and Systems staff to optimize global resourcing workflows in alignment with project management systems.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Resource Planning (Required)
Project Management / PMP Certification (Desired)
Agile / Lean experience (Desired)
Deep understanding of agency creative workflow and creative skillsets and synergies (Required)
Experience working with global teams (Desired)
Education & Experience:
BS/BA degree in Business or related discipline
5-7 years work experience in a role focused on resource planning
