The Inside Sales and Business Development Rep is responsiblefor researching product information, recommending the best product for thecustomer's application, and providing product quotes and lead times followinginternal consultation with design engineering, application engineering, productmarketing and manufacturing, as necessary. Responsible for prospecting andopening new business for assigned territory and meeting sales targetsestablished by the organization, qualifies opportunities by understandingcustomer needs, budgets, decision-making processes, and competitor products viaa consultative sales methodology.
Additional duties include entering detailed customer updatesin Salesforce.com, ensuring customer contact information is accurate and thatclean part numbers are captured. Manages data for new and prospective clientsin Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information isaccurate and documents are attached.
