The Opportunity

LCOR is seeking a full-time Development Accountant to join its Accounting department in Berwyn, PA.

Primary Responsibilities will include:

  • Be the main contact for all the financial needs/requests for 2-4 properties from origination through stabilization
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and financing draws
  • Maintain job costs & contracts
  • Capitalize fixed assets, GAAP & Tax Basis
  • Assist with budget re-forecasts and annual audits
  • Assist in the development and roll out of new policies and procedures to help in process automation and to increase efficiency

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of real estate/construction accounting experience
  • Results driven, service oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong entity accounting knowledge (general ledger, balance sheet, cash flow, income statement components)
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and work effectively in a team driven environment
  • Excellent skills in Excel; Yardi & Textura experience a plus
