We have a successful automotive repair business with multiple locations throughout the Bay Area and we are looking to hire a motivated employee to join our Accounting team in the San Jose Corporate office. This position performs everyday office and accounting tasks. This is a full time position with a Monday-Friday schedule. Bilingual (Spanish) and knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks is preferred. Previous experience in the automotive collision industry is a plus.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support accounting department.
  • Prepare daily credit card payments and EFT reports.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Follow up on all past due invoices.
  • Prepare occasional payments.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mails.
  • Maintain and stock office and maintenance supplies.
  • Assist in month end closing activities which includes credit card and bank account reconciliations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
