The Antony Institute of Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery (Cary, NC) is seeking a Registered Nurse with an active NC license to work closely in a meticulously designed , state of the art office and in-suite surgery center with a highly-skilled surgeon in a dynamic atmosphere. The ideal candidate values safety, outstanding outcomes and a positive work environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to provide attentive care and a superlative cosmetic surgery patient experience. The Nurse will be multi-functional and split time circulating in the OR, greeting patients as a pre-op nurse, and working as a PACU nurse following surgery with a willingness to serve as a patient liaison in the days following surgery. The Nurse will work in a small team environment and assist in multiple areas of the practice. This position will be critical to overall patient satisfaction and surgical success.
Functions of the Role
An ability to work well in a vibrant, fast-paced work environment is critical to success. The Nurse is expected to provide excellent patient care before, during and after surgery. Establishing and maintaining relationships with current and previous patients will be inherent to success. A willingness to work in a small team environment and cross-train to assist in all aspects of surgery suite protocols and Office practices. An ability to be teachable, implement best practices, communicate openly and effectively, and maintain efficiency are critical.
Previous Experience:
An understanding of HIPPA and maintaining detailed documentation and notes in EMR software is required. The successful candidate will find success by working collaboratively with the team to ensure premier patient experience. Communicative, confident, warm, team-minded, and excited best describe the keys to success. The Nurse is also expected to follow all company protocols, policies and procedures.
Hours and Pay
The position is part-time, ~20 hours per week (M-W). Pay is commensurate with experience. This is an ideal position for a Nurse looking to transition to a aesthetic and plastic surgery nurse position over time or simply gain more hours. Salary Range: $30 - $40 per hour
