Supplier Program Marketing Analyst

The Supplier Program Marketing Analyst is responsible for tracking, forecasting and coordinating key supplier management programs, and in addition executes projects / develops analysis that helps drive value in how we manage our supplier base. The analyst position is best suited for an individual looking to grow and develop into a product marketing or product manager role. Strong analytical skills, the ability to think strategically and an interest in identifying new ideas and ways of improving are keys to success in this role. Communication skills and the ability to influence are important and will be developed, as execution of our programs includes extensive engagement with suppliers and working with internal partners in supply chain, product management and finance.

Key responsibilities include:
Manage and accurately track our supplier rebates during the calendar year in order to ensure accurate financial forecasting for the business. This includes:
Communication with large strategic suppliers and buying groups on a monthly basis
Extensive interaction with suppliers to ensure rebate programs are accurate
Understand, interpret and apply supplier data to BlackHawk’s supplier agreements and ensure accurate financial forecasting.
Coordinate Supplier Marketing Program Funding (Co-Op).This includes
Coordinate between BlackHawk sales and product management team members and Suppliers to ensure execution of the agreed upon programs.
Tracks the program at both the aggregate and supplier level to ensure our execution matches our plan.
Works with Suppliers and BlackHawk finance to ensure accounting towards our marketing funding plan.
Ad Hoc Projects, Data Analysis and Reports.
Assist in the execution of Web sponsorships and other digital marketing efforts targeted with specific supplier partners.
Assist in the execution of other key events or initiatives such as:
Annual Supplier Summit Event
Supplier Training Events

Competencies Required:
Initiative – ability to self-start and proactively determine course of action and make decisions
Analytical skills – the ability to conduct data analysis but also interpret the data into actionable information
Communication skills, ability to interact with BlackHawk’s supplier community, including our largest suppliers.
Problem solving and follow through.Drive issues to resolution and ensure the right communication to stakeholders to resolve open issues.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, MBA encouraged
Industry knowledge a plus
Experience in related field preferred
