This individual will be primarily responsible for supporting the LNSS I.S. operations and monitoring strategy including planning, configuration, implementation, administration, release management, problem resolution, system health metrics reporting, and optimization. This individual will be working closely with various development teams in a DevOps culture providing deployment automation and other related services supporting an iterative development process. Understanding the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment, AWS services and how we are using them will be needed to enable the candidate to identify and track system resource baseline measures in support of capacity planning and cost optimization improvements.
Plan, integrate, administer, and support multiple on-prem and cloud-based systems.
Build/maintain Bamboo triggered infrastructure as code scripts leveraging AWS CloudFormation, Terraform and other appropriate tools in support of the CI/CD pipeline.
Participate in code reviews for automation scripts developed by other team members using Git based pull/merge techniques.
Assess, recommend, configure, and support monitoring tools in order to create telemetry and reduce the feedback loop between operations and development teams.
Evaluate infrastructure utilization data in support of capacity planning, budgeting and infrastructure expansion.
Resolve problems in the entire application stack using Root Cause Analysis techniques.
Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
BA or BS degree or equivalent experience/certifications
3-5 years experience in systems administration with Linux (RHEL, AWS Linux) and Windows platforms.
Working knowledge and development or operations experience with AWS services such as EC2, Beanstalk, S3, EBS, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS.
Experience with AWS management tools such as CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and CloudTrail.
Cloud infrastructure automation in the Amazon Web Services environment utilizing CloudFormation or Terraform.
Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat web server platform. Microsoft IIS experience a plus.
Experience working with monitoring and log aggregation technologies such as Nagios XI, AppDynamics, New Relic, Google Analytics, Graphite/Grafana, StatsD, Sumo Logic, Splunk, ELK Stack, etc.
Experience with application load balancing technology products such as EC2 ELB/ALB and F5 BigIP.
Experience with containerization from using tools such as: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS a plus.
Experience with infrastructure automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible a plus.
Working knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server 11.X-12.X a plus.
Experience with Messaging Oriented Middleware (e.g., Oracle Service Bus, TIBCO, WebsSphere MQ, etc) a plus.
General exposure to a wide range of technologies including Internet, application development, network infrastructure, and business process.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
On-call availability to diagnose/recover systems outside business hours when required
Must be familiar with Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC), and deployment best practices
Must be familiar with QA; its related requirements, intent and purpose
Ability to perform and provide Capacity Assessment(s) and other similar analysis
