Position: Information Systems Analyst
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
Location: Allentown, PA

Desk-side and/or telephone support as necessary to assist employees with daily issues; resetting passwords, phone issues, account lockouts, etc.
Creation and ongoing administration of new and existing user accounts and printers, as well as maintaining the support documentation necessary for ongoing maintenance and administration by all staff.
Resolve issues relating to the end-user environment, including troubleshooting computer/printer issues, IP-based phones and phone systems, network connectivity issues, etc.
Secure applications and network by developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation.
Work with vendors as necessary to support users; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
Assist in achieving departmental financial goals/requirements by submitting cost-effective plans to the CIO for upgrades/repairs as necessary for budgets.
Provide on-call and weekend maintenance support to maintain service levels and to ensure proactive response to alerts or service requirements.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Understand and execute the enterprise-wide disaster recovery plan for all systems.
Create system and standard operational policies and procedures (SOP) and maintain the knowledge base with information related to the execution of the duties listed above.
Serve as backup/escalation point for the Information System Analyst(s) for all items relating to the above.
Other duties as assigned.
Works collaboratively with other departments to align with the company’s vision and goals
Assists the other departments with various projects on an as needed basis
Any other tasks or projects as assigned by supervision
Experience, Knowledge, and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Experience with Microsoft XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003, 2008, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Services, Exchange, Citrix; VOIP and Networking technologies including NEC, Nortel, Cisco, 3Com.
Experience with training, multi-tasking, on-call/remote support, network hardware configuration, maintenance and performance tuning.

Must be able to regularly access and use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers, etc.
Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment that is generally climate controlled.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
