Title: Sr. Test Lead
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Engagement: Contract-to-Hire (potential for Direct Hire)
Sr. Test Lead is responsible for the test strategy for products including QA processes, defect prioritization procedure, methods of test execution, and the QA project execution schedule.
Produce key high quality deliverables throughout all test phases i.e. test cases, defect management and methodologies as appropriate to produce successful test outcomes.
Effective communication of the testing progress against schedule to the Test Manager and to project stakeholders.
Assume responsibility for quality assurance of all test deliverables.
Provide guidance to test team to ensure effective progress is being made against plan.
Execution of Test Cases and identification of software defects.
Liaise with 3rd party vendors and business subject matter experts to ensure quality deliverables.
Responsible for the executing on defect management processes
Monitoring, reporting and communicating the test project status with Test Manager
Responsible for resolving the test project issues and ensuring effective test process improvement feedback
Previous experience as QA Lead
At least 5 years’ experience in Software Testing
At least 5 years’ experience in Test Execution
At least 3 years’ experience in Industry Test Tool Expertise
Leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Experience with a wide variety of software solutions including: web-based, Internet, intranet, c/s and n-tier architecture solutions
Experience with Agile Methodology a plus
Experience with Financial Institution Core Systems
Industry experience within Credit Unions, Banking, and/or Financial Services
Experience with Tech Excel Dev Suite a plus
Experience with Online Banking
