Fulfill microbiologist role supporting new product development, production, controlled environments, and sterilization.
Complete execution of deliverables related to microbiology, sterilization validation, biocompatibility, drug stability/compatibility, contamination control, cleaning/disinfection validation of manufacturing areas, post sterile release, and controlled environment monitoring/certification.
Perform investigations and provide technical support for non-conforming events and CAPA related to microbiology, sterilization and controlled environments.
New Product Development
Execute testing for EO residual, D-Value, and SAL
Execute Bacterial Endotoxin Tests and Product Bioburden Tests
Execute sterility testing of BIs
Execute Media Growth Promotion
Assist nonconformance investigations
Execute and trend routine environmental monitoring testing
Track, execute, and report facility modification test requirements
Execute CEA recertification testing
Execute testing to support sterilization cycle revalidations
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required in a scientific discipline
No previous professional experience required
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
Thorough understanding of basic laboratory requirements - including aseptic technique.
Strong computer literacy.
Ability to define, organize, and manage individual tasks.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Able to create and review technical documentation
Interpersonal skills; working in a team and as an individual contributor.
Foster a positive culture of growth, collaboration, and achievement across the organization.
