The Biologics business unit of Molecular Devices provides innovative solutions for scientists across the therapeutic discovery, development, and manufacturing workflow. Our systems and expertise help customers make data-driven decisions sooner. This business unit includes ForteBio and the Bioproduction products from Molecular Devices.
This position is responsible for outbound marketing campaign development - managing campaign development, working cross-functionally with applications scientists, product managers, and industry partners among others to design marketing communications to support global lead generation initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Regional Marketing, the marketing campaign manager would help package existing content or create new content in a variety of formats to match the customer buying journey for designated campaigns and reinforce Molecular Devices’ value propositions.
This position is expected to coordinate with the regional sales and marketing leaders to plan campaign execution – e.g. inclusion in local events, adapting for regional trade publications – to deliver on successmetrics.
The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with the biologics workflow, technical experience with a marketing automation system, and exhibit strong creativity in creating multi-media marketing assets.
Manage the development of outbound marketing campaigns to deliver assets on time
Create engaging content pieces to create more awareness and interest in Molecular Devices’ solutions – both independently and through external agencies
Cooperatively work with applications, product, and sales teams to understand and communicate ForteBio’s value propositions and competitive differentiation
Provide regular updates on campaign development and effectiveness
Participate in global marketing plan development to support lead goals for new product launches and strategic initiatives
Set up nurture streams in marketing automation system to develop new contacts
Work with digital marketing team to track campaign deployment metrics
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Biology)
5+ years experience in the life science industry
Has working knowledge of the Biopharmaceutical industry, applied markets and/or academic market and customer applications
Metrics-driven individual that thinks about tracking campaign success and continuously optimizing
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Able to effectively communicate (verbal and written) ideas with cross-functional team and external agencies to drive agenda
Efficiently works under pressure and deadlines, and works to complete assigned tasks on time and on budget.
Marketing automation (Pardot) experience preferred
2+ years experience in marketing/selling capital equipment preferred
