Pega System Architect (Information Technology Analyst 2)

The New Jersey Judiciary Information Technology Office is seeking a Pega system architect to develop new applications that reside within the Judiciary's Pega application platform. The selected candidate will develop skills on most current versions of PRPC and keep abreast of latest technologies.

Example of Duties:

* Work with Pega business architects, System architects, QA Analysts, and system end-users to develop, maintain and/or enhance the criminal justice reform court systems and digital transformation of court systems

* Create technical specifications

* Develop PEGA Activities, Workflows and Agents per use case specifications

* Develop PEGA Data pages and Data Transformations

* Develop PEGA user interface through Section, Harness, Layouts and Skin Rules

* Develop PEGA SLAs

* Production support

Salary range is $59,217.75 - $96,891.28. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity AND one (1) year of professional experience in: analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, testing, defining business requirements, training and/or installing computer systems applications OR planning, acquiring, installing and implementing telecommunications facilities and services, wide area networks, or local area networks OR generating and maintaining system software.

Note: Appropriate Pega certification (e.g. Systems architect or related certification) is preferred.

Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying on a year for year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.

A Bachelor's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university and one year of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.

An Associate's Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity and two (2) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.

An Associate's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying may be substituted for the required education.

A Master's Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying, such as information systems, human-computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity may be substituted for the required education.

Residency Law: Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), also known as the “New Jersey First Act,” all persons newly hired by the Judiciary must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.

Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
