Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized medical receptionist to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will work at the front desk of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients and other visitors. You will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients and their families.


  • Greet patients, and other visitors to our office
  • Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
  • Answer phone calls in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner
  • Respond to emails that arrive using our general office email address
  • Register new patients and update necessary records
  • Schedule patients in a timely manner
  • Accurately collect and log patient payments
  • Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and then check them over to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
  • Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming
  • Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating patients in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
  • Solid communicator and excellent team player
  • Able to multi-task in busy work environment

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour


  • Multi-Line Phone System: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Receptionist: 1 year (Required)
