The Surgery Center department is seeking a RN to join their GI Lab team part-time located in Everett.
The RN is responsible for and not limited to: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) applies elements of the nursing process in the provision of professional nursing care to all patients in accordance with accepted standards of practice for the Endoscopy GI Lab
Assesses the health status of the patient to develop an individualized plan of care by collecting, categorizing and interpreting data (physical and psychosocial) from documented information, observation, patient/family interview and other health care team members.
Develops a nursing care plan based on the assessment of the patient that included nursing diagnosis, patient goals and nursing interventions necessary to achieve these goals.
Implements the nursing care plan to provide optimal individualized care for the patient.
Preferred Experience and Credentials:
Current Washington State Registered Nurse License. Current BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS must be acquired within 3months of hire). Membership in the Society of Gastrointestinal National Association and certification by SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates) preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of recent endoscopy lab experience preferred. IV skills. Demonstrated advanced level of achievement of performance standards for endoscopy nursing according to SGNA standards of care.
