Responsibilities will include but not be limited to ensuring consistent and fair standards in support of current department and company directives related to setting new credit lines for existing and new customers. Financial analysis of customer data to determine appropriate lines of credit.
Documenting and maintaining customer files to support decision.
Process improvement processing
Reporting requirements as assigned
Establish & maintain relationship with 3rd party collection agencies
Maintain 3rd collection agency performance report
Communicate with external & internal customers via e-mail, phone and/or fax.
Extract Data & Decision Making software &/or internet
Data validation with external references.
Update customer accounts information.
Implementation & on going maintenance of Vertex, Sales Tax Program.
Documentation retention & retrieval
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Minimum of 7-10 years experience in accounting / finance field or Accounting/Finance degree
Experience in manufacturing environment or distribution a plus.
7 Years experience of Credit Underwriting preferred.
2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools.
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to work in a detailed environment while seeing opportunities to improve the overall process.
Strong negotiation skills.
Formal Credit underwriting training preferred.
Commercial credit experience preferred (credit analysis, collection, manager).
Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting / finance field
6 Years experience of Credit Underwriting
Prefer College Graduate.
