As a member of our Agile delivery team - as a Scrum Master- you will help deliver innovative and inspiring solutions for our diverse client base. Working with us means you’ll lead high performing Agile delivery teams on a variety of software development projects, apply your broad-base technical, client-facing and industry expertise to create practical, innovative solutions, learn and work with the latest web, mobile, and cloud solutions and technologies. You will also take responsibility for both strategic and tactical management of assigned projects and ensure projects are delivered to scope, schedule, and of the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - To simplify complexities for each customer
Brings tools and techniques to help the team absorb scrum practices, principles, values and roles
Guides and coaches the organization on scrum practices (guards and supports the scrum process)
Servant leader and facilitator of team meetings, team decision-making and team maturity
Protects the team from interruptions
Bachelor’s degree (or military experience) and 3+ years direct work experience in an IT Management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CSM certification required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2 years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams
2 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Desire and ability to work within a highly collaborative environment
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Experience training teams and large groups is a plus
Expertise with agile engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Test-Driven Development, and Pair Programming is a plus
Requires proven experience in change management, status reporting, and issue/risk management.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. Possesses the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Duties are performed primarily in an office setting. Travel to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country may be required. Operate computer and standard office equipment such as telephone, copier, and printer. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
