WorkTogether Talent Consulting (WorkTogether) seeks a Director of Communications and Partnerships to lead our external messaging function, including social media management and overall organizational voice development. This person will join a small but mighty team, and they will own and drive their own vision for the communications function.

WHY THIS, WHY NOW
WorkTogether spent much of Fall 2023/Spring 2024 going through a rebranding process, working closely with an expert partner to simplify our service offerings, our organizational story, and our brand voice. Given this investment, we now know we’re ready to hire our functional lead to operationalize the work we’ve already begun.
RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communications: (65%)
Functional Leadership: Own WorkTogether’s overall external communication vision, leading efforts to ensure consistency and coherence across all external communications channels to increase inbound business opportunities.
Project Management: Create, manage and execute the overall social media and external communication calendar, including but not limited to Linkedin and Instagram, webinars, case studies, resource development, blogs and newsletters. Identify and pursue other media engagements, including but not limited to national and local publications.
Team Engagement: Support the rest of the WorkTogether team to speak in our organizational brand voice and ensure execution of consistent external messaging (aligned to calendar above).
Partnership Development & Sales: (35%)
Functional Leadership: Support WorkTogether’s CEO to execute on WorkTogether’s business development strategy, including but not limited to personalized outreach, cold outreach, and supporting inbound business requests. Drive inbound business development through communication strategies.
Project Management: Support WorkTogether’s CEO and Talent Services leadership team stay on track to execute the overall business development plan. Manage WorkTogether’s RFP strategy, including writing proposals and managing approval processes. Manage WorkTogether’s conference strategy. Manage our CRM.
Team Engagement: Work closely with WorkTother’s Talent Services team to develop relevant and aligned content for webinars and conferences. Own overall hiring plan for the Communications & Partnership function, likely including hiring a Manager of Partnerships in FY24/25
QUALIFICATIONS
Primary Qualifications:
At least 4 years of professional communications experience in the education or social sector, required
Strong written and oral communication skills, required.
Prior experience owning organizational social media strategy and driving website traffic, including a record of results growing followers, engagement, and website traffic required.
Prior teaching or school-based experience, preferred.
Prior experience managing external relationships or client engagement, preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
A high degree of professionalism, strong customer service orientation and excellent attention to detail, required.
Strong understanding of Excel and GSuite, including but not limited to Google Drive, Docs and Sheets and familiarity with major social media platforms, required.
Familiarity with EngageBay or other similar CRMs, preferred.
KEY CONSIDERATIONS
Compensation starts at $90,000

This role is completely remote, with less than 10% travel
