The Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) Program of JCCA is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to suppor the management of day-to-day clinical activities in the Program. The children in the TFFC program have a psychiatric diagnosis and/or a history of psychiatric hospitalization, and/or multiple placements in the system. Many have also suffered emotional trauma as the result of physical and sexual abuse, extreme neglect and multiple failed placements. The goal is to provide enough support to these children, ages 2-21, and their caretakers so that they can safely remain in the community, rather than be placed in congregate care.
Supervise, train and develop Social Workers and Sociotherapists
Ensure that all required child and parent contacts and documentation are completed timely, adhering to program mandates
Collaborate with child welfare and other community agencies as necessary
Oversee each placement, finalizes individual treatment plans for children after discussion with foster parents and staff, monitors each case, and updates treatment plans as necessary
Instructs, guides and evaluates performance of assigned staff on a consistent basis by conducting weekly individual and group supervision
Coordinate and monitor the clinical services of all children in the program and continually assess the appropriateness of services rendered
Review workers’ progress notes in Connections (CONX) to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness
Approve court reports, permanency hearing reports and FASPs, and completes these reports/attends court/occasionally completes home visits in times of staff vacancies
Collaborate with other program leads to ensure appropriate and timely hiring, performance management and discipline of direct reports, adhering to collective bargaining agreement
Facilitate case planning meetings that including family, case planners and clinical staff
Provide rotated administrative coverage during evenings and on weekends
Other related duties as required
MSW required; LMSW or LCSW highly preferred
Two years of Foster Home Services and community based direct practice experience
Supervisory experience is preferred
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with client and teams that are culturally and professionally diverse
Must have excellent writing and follow-up skills are required
