Dealer/Product Support Intern
Provide reporting and analytical support to the Warranty Administration department.
Position is responsible for assisting in the warranty claim data analysis and will include gathering data for statistics for monthly reporting.
Position will assist with Labor Rate Project to determine acceptable repair labor hours for various forklift repairs.
Support, Diagnostic Software, and Publications
Diagnostic Software Audit
This would require working with all dealers that have leased diagnostic software. Send out request to each user to supply a picture of the box and cable.
Internal Hosing 3-way to 4-way list by model family
This would require working with the G/C/P list and creating a list of all components needed to convert a mast with 3-way internal hosing to 4-way internal hosing.
Service manual proof reading
This would require reading the service manuals in the content management system.
Work with Design engineering, service engineering on any issues found in the manuals.
Create edits and work with Japan publications for approval.
New Product Release of manuals
If we have any new products coming out during this time, they could proof the Operator manual and Service manual.
Maintenance Parts List
This would require them to review our service manuals to find all of the maintenance parts needed for the first year of service.
Then use the parts manuals to find the actual part numbers
Then add the part number to the manual using the Content Management System.
Help with any CRM tickets that require list to be created.
Reviews data and failed parts from dealers to investigate the root cause of failure.
This is completed through the review of dealer claims, use of test stands, prototype trucks, and failure analysis equipment.
Position will support in process improvement related to parts receiving and shipping, inspection, and claim processing.
Actively participates in continuous improvement activities and generates defect reduction ideas.
Supports other cross-functional teams within the product services group with failure analysis request.
Microsoft Office Experience, including intermediate level excel skills
Statistical analysis skills
Anticipated Work Schedule and Other Job Specifications:
