Job Description Summary:
The National Sales Manager - Wholesale will develop, implement and manage the business plan for key Uponor US Wholesale National Accounts – Ferguson, Winsupply and Hajoca. Build strong relationships with key corporate and regional leadership within each account; And connect regional Uponor sales teams with opportunities with each account that lead to profitable growth.

This position is also responsible for managing our buying group relationships: Affiliated Distributors, Embassy, WIT and OMNI. This included running the buying group meetings and making sure to connect the regional sales teams with opportunities to drive partnership and growth.

The National Sales Manager will also be responsible for analyzing account performance metrics and identify trends and opportunities. This position is also involved in negotiating programs that drive alignment and profitable growth. Requires 80% travel.

Job Description:
Develops strategic business plans for each national account that will focus on best opportunities for profitable growth – quarterly updates

Work with National Accounts – FEI, Hajoca and Winsupply on building strong relationships with corporate and regional leadership; getting buy in and support on business plan and profitable growth initiatives.

Connect National Account opportunities with Uponor Sales Team and ensure that local teams are supporting profitable growth initiatives.

Analyze account performance metrics and identify trends and opportunities

Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree coupled with 10+ years direct industry experience, or equivalent experience; including prior Sales Management experience.
Sound technical understanding of plumbing.
Proven experience with construction trade, homebuilders, plumbing contractors, manufacturers representatives, and wholesale distribution.
Good understanding of legal process and contract law pertaining to purchase / distribution agreements.
Demonstrated finance competence.
Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven and demonstrated leadership ability.
A self-starter with strong independent work skills, prioritizing activities, understanding opportunity costs.
Ability to thrive and work in a team environment.
Extensive travel required.
