THE OPPORTUNITY – REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
Due to our aggressive growth strategies, we are expanding our professional sales staff, and are looking for a key individual to join our growing sales team. The ideal Regional Account Manager candidate will have experience in the K-12 Education market and have a working knowledge of the Reseller/Distribution Channel in their region. They will be solution-oriented, and activity driven. They will possess a drive to make a difference for their clients.
This is a B2B sales model that requires a talented individual who loves working with clients and partners in the K-12 education sector, and is willing to make a difference in how schools can be more efficient with their technology utilization.
We are looking for enthusiastic sales professionals who are self-motivated, quick learners, and who enjoy working in a team environment. The Regional Account Manager will be required to travel as needed, attending technology trade shows and key meetings with high-profile customers and resellers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote our products and professional services to K-12, Higher Education, and Enterprise business markets via phone, email, online meetings, and key in-person meetings.
- Build and grow strong relationships with key technology resellers and channel partners in your territory.
- Manage existing customer base while actively soliciting new business opportunities.
- Respond to customer requests promptly.
- Regularly meet and exceed sales activity targets and quarterly sales goals.
- Deliver online/in-person presentations of JAR Systems products and professional services.
- Provide reports on activities, forecasts, and other business-related information to sales management.
- Manage all activities in our CRM.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
- Conduct weekly/monthly updates with sales management.
- Develop a comprehensive regional growth strategy with sales management and consistently execute the plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Sales experience in the education vertical, especially in K-12 with experience working with distributors and resellers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven consultative selling skills.
- Desire to be part of a growing team and looking for short and long-term success.
- Possess strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), video meeting technology, and CRM skills such as HubSpot.
- Ability to take good notes and keep customer interactions well documented in HubSpot CRM.
- Willingness to travel to trade shows or client visits as required.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work individually but still work within a team that supports each other.
- Self-motivated and accountable.
- Conduct weekly meetings with sales management and generate appropriate reports prior to meetings.
- Must have a professional attitude and appearance.
- Must have an excellent history of customer service experience.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and propose recommendations.
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Business or equivalent professional sales experience.
- Minimum 5+ years sales experience, preferably that required engagement with high-level decision makers in a consultative sales model.

Salary: Starting at $150,000 OTE (On Target Earning = Base + Commissions) with NO CAP on commissions
