Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Front of House Manager with great energy to join our team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front of house area, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses.
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Ensure that all front of house areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of food service
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions
- Implement and enforce food safety regulations and health code standards
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
- Assist with coffee preparation as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as shift lead or Assistant Manager in casual dining atmosphere
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
