The HR (Compliance) Representative will be primarily responsible for companywide initiation, coordination, tracking and auditing of the PCA Federal Contractor Program compliance process. This position will also be responsible for supporting the HR administration functions of the White Paper divisions and Boise Admin office. This position will report to and support the Area HR Regulatory and Compliance Manager in execution of various HR programs not limited to the Federal Contractor Program and the hiring process for all employees.
Initiates, reviews for accuracy and obtains required signatures on all Salaried Personnel Requisitions company-wide; Audits the DayForce Applicant Tracking system on a daily basis.
Receives and audits all Applicant File Folders company-wide and ensures the Hourly or Salaried Checklist included in the Applicant File Folders are completed accurately and matches the information contained in the Folder. Follows up with the individual who prepared the Folder if discrepancies are found.
Oversees the company-wide E-Verify system and is responsible for setting up new users, terminating users and auditing re-verification issues as they arise. Follows-up with PCA locations if there are issues to be addressed. Ensures PCA has accurate and completed I-9s for all current employees and new hires complete the E-Verify on-line process in a timely manner.
Acts as back-up to the Area HR Regulatory & Compliance Manager with regard to daily HR support for the Boise Admin Office, White Paper division (Vancouver & Elk Grove Village locations) with regard to new hire processes, policies and programs, employee relations, EEO, onboarding and employee information services for the White Paper division locations (ID, IL, WA), the Corporate functions within the Boise Admin Office as well as related outside locations (Transportation/Trucking; IT; Finance; EH&S; Audit & Security and Procurement).
Assists in the following activities related to the Federal Contractor Program: Preparation and data collection for annual Affirmative Action Plans. Audits weekly New Hire and Termination reports. Job posting compliance within Applicant Tracking Systems. Administrator of 3rd party vendor systems to add/ remove, or troubleshoot access issues. Annually orders and distributes Federal and State Employment Posters as needed to PCA locations.
Responsible for new hire onboarding at Boise Admin office, Vancouver, Elk Grove Village and offsite Trucking Terminals.
Other duties as delegated.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
2+ yrs. HR experience in an office environment.
General knowledge of principles/practices of HR.
Solid computer skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Web-based applications. HRIS experience.
Minimal travel when applicable.
2+ yrs. experience and/or knowledge within a Federal Contractor HR Compliance role or department.
Experience working within a manufacturing team environment.
