What the Player Network Head of Operations will do at EA:
Drive cross-business unit change management efforts to align the company strategy towards the Player Network.
Partner with human resources, compensation and recruiting to develop incentive structures designed to support the Player Network.
Communicate progress, risks, and mitigations to EA’s executive team.
Program Management

Develop a complete understanding and definition of the list of dependent projects that need to be completed to reach the overall goal of the Player Network Program.
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
Coordination between the multiple Player Network projects and their interdependencies to ensure they are aligning with overall business goals.
Decide on suitable execution strategies and objectives. Present a strong knowledge of development methodologies and an understanding of when to use or adapt each one.
Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.
Apply change, risk and resource management.
Implementing and managing required changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
Planning and executing communication plans to all stakeholders.
Setting up tools and standards for managing the Player Network Program.
In-house consultancy to projects and programs.
Auditing and health checks on projects and programs.
Leadership

Provide leadership across various EA Business Units to champion strategic initiatives that will have an impact on future projects and Studio roadmap.
Lead change management strategies for Studio initiatives whether through executive communication, town halls, reviews, workshops or other inclusive methods.
Operations

Lead process improvement forward through direct and dotted line reports. This would include transparent, predictable and value-added processes for quality product delivery and efficiencies as well as new ways of thinking about operations.
Structure key roles and responsibilities, communication strategies, and standardized studio processes where necessary.
Conduct operational reviews with development teams, advise on best practices and partner to design innovative solutions to challenges that arise.
Provide studio wide leadership and strive to find innovative solutions to problems that arise.

Who You Are:
10+ years of operations and leadership experience.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to challenge and influence a variety of partners.
Ability to prepare/present high impact business cases/analyses/recommendations to leadership team.
Proficient change management skills, i.e. comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments.
Self-starter who is able to identify and solve problems.
Plan, organize, and run key operational activities of the studio teams and set clear targets to achieve studio objectives.
Commit to predictable delivery and risk management.
Drive the adoption of efficient product development practices and business process best practices that would benefit the studio.
Work closely with the leadership team in defining the future shape and changes for the workforce including: outsourcing, insourcing, internal development resources, external development resources/external partners and contingency workforce management.
Collaborative communicator, customer focused with exceptional decision making and leader of teams.
