Thync Global is a bioelectronics company focused on developing pioneering treatments for mental health and autoimmune disorders. Our non-invasive, bioelectronics platform effectively targets autonomic nerve pathways important in a number of disease processes while providing superior safety relative to pharmaceutical interventions.

Job Summary

In this newly created position, you will establish and manage the clinical program for the company, focusing on psoriasis clinical studies with an eye to studies to be created in the future

What you will do:

  • Assist in defining and developing clinical research strategy and study protocols
  • Lead and execute clinical research studies and programs for the company
  • Manage external CRO and clinical study site relationships
  • Audit operations to ensure compliance with protocol and applicable regulations
  • Create and manage internal and external budgets for research protocols
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Create and document policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clinical operations
  • Lead the troubleshooting process to reach resolutions for any issues that arise during the course of a study

Other Requirements:

  • Greater than five (5) years experience as a Clinical Research Manager, with particular experience executing psoriasis or atopic dermatitis clinical studies
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including managing external CROs
  • Experience with research protocols and regulatory or governing bodies, including HIPAA and FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and Good Clinical Practices
  • Demonstration of scientific productivity (publications, research reports, presentations, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s and/or Ph.D. strongly preferred
  • Applicable professional certifications a plus
  • Must live within greater San Francisco Bay Area
