As a Supervisor of Long-Term Care Utilization Review at Telligen, you will be responsible for leading program staff. You will provide technical guidance and training to staff related to the contract/program operations.

The Gig:
You will supervise the day to day operation of staff to ensure compliance with program protocols, state requirements and URAC accreditation standards as applicable. You will assist with staff projects and employee meetings and will ensure the operations of the contract/program are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
You will select, develop, and manage employee-owners to achieve individual, team, and organizational success. You will ensure employee-owner accountability through routine observation, performance measurement, and performance feedback. You will fulfil Telligen’s Management Philosophy that "Managers coach, engage, and support our people to achieve results".
You will perform caseload functions as assigned; perform audits or quality monitoring of staff to provide feedback on strengths and opportunities for improvement.
You will develop training protocols for staff and patient education tools to be used for orientation and on-going education, which addresses operating protocols, URAC accreditation and/or state requirements as applicable and workflow processes.
You will be in the know of health care trends and changes.

What you need to make the cut:
Four-year degree in business or health related field and /or equivalent training and/or experience
Current RN nursing licensure in the state of Maryland
3+ years of clinical experience required
Minimum of 1-year experience in a leadership role or has demonstrated leadership capabilities
Motivational interviewing skills preferred
Long Term Care and Utilization Management experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
