Arhaus Furniture is a recognized yet rapidly-growing, fashion-forward, home furnishings retailer with a passion for design and excellence. We have created an enduring reputation in our communities for finding new products and new solutions for our customers that help make a house a home.
Arhaus is one of the most innovative, trend-right premium furniture retailers in the US, and possibly the world. It is a private enterprise where the founder and other company leaders meticulously scavenge the globe for the highest quality, fashionable furniture and accessories for its customers to create aesthetically pleasing spaces in their homes that are both beautiful and comfortable.
Founded in 1986, Arhaus has recently brought our creative direction back in house and therefore is looking to hire several new creative positions. This team is charged with continuing to evolve Arhaus to become more differentiated in the marketplace and become the home furnishings retailer of choice.
A few additional details and facts:
Arhaus is based in Boston Heights, Ohio – just outside of Cleveland.
The company recently built a $43M corporate headquarters and distribution center on the former site of Boston Heights Country Club. This 1M square foot building is home to 400 of its 1,400 employees.
It is not a corporation, rather “it’s a family business founded by a father and a son with an absolute passion for craftsman and quality.”
Arhaus leadership visits the “workshops of America” and “travel the world” (including Mexico, India and Italy) and “take the best of what they find and curate it so their customers can come to explore, connect and find themselves in what they discover.” They use sustainable, “time honored techniques” – reclaimed wood, when possible, and they “never use timber from endangered forests” to create furniture that reflects “beauty and comfort.”
This private, family-owned business enjoys all of the cultural attributes of an entrepreneurial environment.
The company continues to open new stores and has a national footprint with 70+ store locations and 3 clearance outlets.
