We are in rapid expansion mode across the organization and are building the ecommerce team needed to shape and execute on our vision and plan for taking our redemptions experience and offering to the next level, further differentiating us in the space and supporting business growth. You will work alongside the VP of Ecommerce and other leaders across the organization to develop and drive the broader e-comm agenda and strategy, and you and will learn every side of our business as we execute on our cross-functional goals. The Job
    • Own and direct the product roadmap for the Globoforce e-commerce business, spanning our e-commerce site and storefront experience and features, vendor integration, pricing strategy and functionality, web analytics, and customer marketing programs
    • Lead a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, UX Designers, Analysts, and other internal partners in an agile scrum environment to envision, build, and deliver a world-class e-commerce experience
    • Manage the product life cycle from inception to launch, including developing business cases, end-to-end product definition, development, and delivery of key features and milestones
    • Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
    • Understand and articulate client and customer needs, conduct ongoing customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize client and market requirements
    • Serve as an eCommerce expert for the company, both internally and externally
    • Employ a test & learn approach to quickly and efficiently test concepts, learn and iterate while taking informed risks and balancing long-term strategy with the delivery of quick wins
    • Ruthlessly prioritize based on a combination of business objectives, resourcing, and ROI; proactively anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs and plan for scale
    • Obsess over performance and impact of your product domain; transform quantitative and qualitative data into insights and strategy to drive business objectives and product development priorities
    • Work closely and collaboratively with other teams and departments, including Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and other Product Management teams
    • Serve as a key leader of the e-commerce organization, partnering with the VP of ECommerce and other e-comm leaders to define and evolve the business vision, build and motivate the team, and deliver on business and financial goals


    • Develop and launch a data-driven personalized experience on our storefront to maximize the value we deliver to our highly diverse 4M+ users, inspire them with our vast selection, and drive discoverability & conversion
    • Partner with Merchandising and Engineering teams to develop technology to enable us to significantly scale our merchandise vendor set, delivering increased value to our customers via expanded selection and more competitive pricing
    • Test & learn into optimal pricing schemes to maximize conversion while delivering on company financial goals
    • Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering and other Product teams to develop a consumer marketing program to proactively target customers with our product offering; initial channels include email, text notifications, and targeted links from other points across our SAAS product suite
    • Analyze site and user metrics to determine critical points in the funnel to improve experience and drive conversion; develop associated roadmap for initiatives spanning every area of the site, including navigation, search, homepage, browse, product pages, and cart & checkout
    • Develop a deep understanding of the motivations involved in the recognition and redemption cycle; identify opportunities to create an immersive and inspirational experience that ties the emotion of the recognition moments into the points redemption process
Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 10+ years of product management experience (some e-commerce experience preferred)
  • Superior communication skills; ability to work effectively across all levels and departments & generate buy-in for ideas and plans
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams; experience in an organization spanning multiple locations a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience with hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity; willing to identify and fill gaps where necessary to get the job done
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Ability to get things done (even when resource-constrained)
  • Ability to think and perform both strategically and tactically
  • Knowledge of web analytics

  • Ability to travel 15% globally to Dublin Globoforce office as well as to clients, partners, and events as needed
