Direct Support Professional (DSP), responsible for individuals developmental disabilities with emphasis on encouraging and guiding individuals in activities that promote independence and inclusion within the local community, protecting the individuals’ health and safety, facilitating community integration, facilitating relationship building, and teaching functional skills. The DSP is required to have access to a reliable vehicle, with mileage reimbursed by the Agency.

Status:
Part-time - Flexible hours - Mornings/Daytime/Evenings/Weekends - working 1:1
Responsibilities Include:
- Follow individual’s staff action plan/daily activity schedule.
- Provide transportation for participants in a safe manner to various places in the community.
- Support individuals in developing/maintaining functional skills and relationships with people in various community settings.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic documentation including but not limited to: daily intervention records, mileage and petty cash forms.
- Conformance to all HIPPA privacy standards.
- Complete required trainings both in-person and online (CPR/First Aid, Medicaid Compliance, Choking Prevention, etc.)

What we Require:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- A valid non-provisional Drivers’ License
- Access to a reliable vehicle with proof of registration and insurance
- Successful clearance of mandatory background checks
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Must have a smartphone, or tablet, and be able to perform required documentation on the personal device using company’s software
