OFFICE ASSISTANT
The City of Lake Park has an immediate opening for a part-time Office Assistant. City Hall is a multi-dimensional work environment, with excellent opportunities to grow and learn. The Office Assistant provides efficient, customer-focused, high quality administrative services that support the City’s functions and operations. Primary job duties will include greeting visitors and members of the public, performing clerical activities including taking calls, typing memos, letters, reports, taking notes, accepting payments, performing clerical accounting and data collection/entry, photocopying, faxing and assisting with maintaining files. Qualifications include a working knowledge of computer systems and MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work well in a small office setting, perform at a high level of autonomy with general supervision, and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
