The Bridgestone Retail Development Internship Program allows you to gain exposure to our core business unit, Retail Operations. Through the ten week program you will have the opportunity to learn operations management, sales, customer service, marketing, P&L, product knowledge, merchandiscing as well as our overall business strategy.
The Bridgestone Retail Development Internship Program allows you to gain exposure to our core business unit, Retail Operations. Through the ten-week program you will have the opportunity to learn operations management, sales, customer service, marketing, P&L, product knowledge, merchandising as well as our overall business strategy.
The 10-week internship program from June 11 through August 18 will be a combination of group training and individual development.
What you can expect:
Collaborate with a team of technicians, services managers, store managers, and tire sales managers to maintain daily operations for one of Bridgestone Retail’s 2200+ locations across the United States.
Acquire product knowledge, Business to Business Sales, and learn inventory management skills.
Execute company strategy to drive sales and increase BOSS (the customer), satisfaction.
Champion Bridgestone’s vision.
Build BOSS (the customer) loyalty.
Shadow an Area Manager to for exposure to multiunit operations and leadership.
Participate in business events with opportunities to travel, gain exposure to expense management and other administrative tasks.
Network with Retail Operations executives and provide feedback to leaders.
Based on the overall experience and performance during the 10 week internship, the intern may be eligible for Retail Operation's full development program.
Must be a Junior going into your Senior year, graduating between Fall 2018 and Spring 2019
Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university
Must be willing to travel and work a flexible schedule; including weekends
Must have a valid driver's license
