Job Description:
GFD Finaeon specializes in providing data on stocks, bonds, and bills to hedge funds and banks. We seek a motivated individual to lead the development of new tools that will capitalize on the historical data we feature for a new retirement application.
We seek a leader who wants to empower the next generation of financial analytics. Our lead developer needs to be familiar with .NET web APIs which interface with our current SQL Databases, and possess the skills to manage project timelines and perform performance reviews.
Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Responsibilities:
- System architecture and design experience – must have!!!
- Build and configure OLTP and OLAP databases and data environments.
- Build and maintain .NET web APIs and make them in a RESTful way.
- Build and create robust front ends using front end frameworks with a focus on UX.
- Create, alter, analyze, and interpret SQL code, create stored procedures, index tables, etc.
- Analyze and interpret data from third parties to fit existing database structures.
- Work with third party consultant companies and an in-house product owner to start the process of transferring over a prototype to our architecture.
- Managerial Responsibilities:
- Set project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and guide team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, application development, data systems development or similar field of study, or 4+ years’ relevant experience in .NET systems using SQL databases.
- Experience with C# and SQL is a must.
- Experience with any .NET framework, used as either a web API or DAL.
- Experience with any kind of front end framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
- Experience with REST APIs, or any kind of web-based API systems.
- Experience working with MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server/Azure SQL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Excel Workbooks (import and export).
- Experience with version control systems such as TFS or Git.
- Basic understanding of money, banking, or finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a leadership role or managerial responsibilities is preferred.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
