The Demand Generation Strategist is responsible for developing and executing lead generation initiatives to meet or exceed monthly lead goals. This person should have experience developing marketing strategies that support efforts across the full marketing-sales funnel and be a leader in the ideation and creation of engaging and effective content for multi-channel marketing campaigns. The Demand Generation Strategist reports directly to the Director, Demand Generation and is instrumental in the success of eMoney’s marketing initiatives.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director, Demand Generation, strategize and implement lead generation efforts through inbound and outbound marketing campaigns
Working closely with the Content Director, build and manage a library of rich and compelling content that attracts defined buyer personas to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.), through each phase of the sales funnel
Outlines and implements strategies to source new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email and content to increase conversion rates
Responsible for A/B and/or multivariate testing to drive increase in conversions within owned assets
Use data to drive decisions, leveraging analytics to continually refine and improve content and processes
Follow relevant marketing & lead nurturing trends and integrate best practices across all channels and processes
Commit to understanding our industry and eMoney’s position within it.
Commit to understanding the key differences in the clients we serve (firms and independent financial professionals), the challenges they face, and the value eMoney’s technology solutions brings to their businesses
Stay up on industry news and trends, identifying event opportunities accordingly


BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
At least 4-5 years of marketing experience in lead generation, conversion optimization and/or email marketing


Strong writing and proofreading skills
Experience with CRM / marketing automation systems (Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, etc.) on a day-to-day basis, including for email creation, campaign setup, creating reports, detail analysis, etc.
Familiar with building out campaigns within a marketing automation platform, including emails, landing pages, blog posts, ads
Demonstrated skill in Demand Gen tactics, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Search & Display, Website, Social Media, and Email marketing
Clear communications and writing skills with a passion for developing compelling and creative copy
Ability to deliver new ideas to the team, think on your feet, and move at a fast pace to hit aggressive lead generation goals
