Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and support to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a hospice and home care setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the nursing team, providing guidance and support
- Oversee the implementation of Medicare regulations and compliance in patient care
- Manage and coordinate MDS assessments and medical records documentation
- Conduct regular reviews of documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to support clinical staff
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in a leadership role within hospice or home care settings
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in supervising nursing staff and managing MDS assessments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate documentation review
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $82,453.00 - $96,000.00 per year
