1) JOB DUTIES OF THE FRAME CARPENTER
-Work as part of a team building unique structures.
-Have excellent customer service skills.
-Be able to read/follow plans.
-ability to calculate, layout and cut lumber packages for framing
-Be able to plan at least a day in advance for materials, tools needed to complete a particular task.
-Be able to complete a project within budget for labor and materials while producing a quality product.
-Maintain a safe, organized and clean work site as well as build using safe tools and building practices.
-Maintain or oversee maintenance of tools assigned to your trailer.
-Keep project manager accurately informed re: issues, problems, customer concerns etc. that you have encountered on the job
2) SKILLS & ABILITIES OF THE FRAME CARPENTER
-Positive attitude, excellent customer service and the ability to be a part of a team working toward a common goal.
-comfortable working year round outdoors 1-2 stories off the ground. Ability to lift materials up to 80lbs and can bend, climb and move without restrictions.
-minimum 5 years floor and roof stick framing along with trim carpentry experience. Most of our framing is exposed so the ability to frame while still having it look good is very important.
-Punctual and respects the time of others.
-clean driving record to be able to drive company vehicles and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test as we are a drug free workplace.
