The Medical Director will work in collaboration with the AVP of Hospital at Home to oversee the clinical direction and the coordination of Hospital at Home practices, policies and procedures. Along with the other members of the leadership team, this individual is responsible for decision making and execution around establishment of the HAH program. Goals will target establishment of the program by the anticipated go-live date, establishing the infrastructure to support a census at the level determined by hospital and system leadership, policy and procedure establishment, regulatory readiness, identified quality metrics, and physician / advanced practice provider supervision.
We seek candidates with a medical degree (MD/DO) and a minimum of five years of physician leadership experience within a hospital setting. Our ideal candidates will have proven leadership ability and experience motivating and leading staff, the ability to plan, organize and evaluate programs and analyze fiscal data, excellent written and oral communication skills and an outstanding knowledge of informatics and digital health tools. Prior Hospital at Home experience is also strongly desirable. Candidates must have an active medical license and be eligible for a Massachusetts State Medical License.
