Purpose & Objective of Position
As part of SAP’s IT Spend & Workforce IT Services (SWIS) we are responsible for the technical set-up of SAP’s internal end-to-end Travel & Expense process and related technical solutions based on SAP Concur T&E. This includes enhancements and migrations within the Cloud tenant as well as for all integrated interfaces from/to SAP backend systems.
We are looking for a working student that plays an active role in the area of technical integration between Concur T&E and SAP systems with a technical expertise, an open mind and natural curiosity.
Expectations & Tasks
As a working student, you will have the opportunity to experience the custom-build software development for our Travel & Expense Business process.
You will be working in an agile setup as part of a Scrum team.
Your tasks include:
Be a part of a strong Agile team of functional & technical consultants
Understand the business scenarios with respect to how the travel & expense process works @ SAP
Understand the technical / application architecture of integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA and Concur
Design & develop applications on-premise and in the cloud using various programming languages such as SAP-ABAP and SAPUI5
Debug and troubleshoot productive issues as needed
Focus also on test automation for existing processes / test cases
Get well-versed with automation tools for testing that are used @ SAP-IT
Interest in emerging topics like Machine Learning, AI, Deep Learning, RPA etc., is desired
Skills / Competencies / Educational Requirements / Qualifications
Student at a university or a university of applied sciences preferably in Computer Science or a related subject
Computer skills (mandatory):
Good understanding of software building and deployment processes
Ability to adopt new technologies quickly
Strong knowledge of programming concepts such as procedural, object-oriented programming, testing methodologies
Good understanding of SAP technologies (SAP-ERP, SAP S/4HANA OP & CE) as part of an SAP student ramp-up program or onboarding
SAP-ABAP as part of an SAP student ramp-up program or onboarding
Computer skills (desired):
HTML, Java Script
Good understanding of cloud to on-premise integration, SAP Cloud Platform
Knowledge of integration technologies of SAP as well as other prominent tools available in the market
Language skills: English
