Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and deliver the required software engineering for new capabilities in Azure
Proactively identify and reduce issues through design, testing, and implementation of software solutions
Be part of a Dev-Ops team that handles any deployment, availability, reliability, performance issues as well as any customer escalations.
Drive efficiencies through software improvement and root cause analysis resulting in service delivery, maturity, and scalability
Work within a highly skilled team of engineers to deliver revolutionary improvements to the cloud

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:
2+ years of software engineering or systems experience
BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or in place of 4-year degree, an equivalent industry internship or industry software engineering experience
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell

Ability and eagerness to work across and partner with multiple engineering teams to achieve business goals

Experience building distributed systems and highly scalable and available software

Experience leveraging cloud architecture, applying site reliability principles, and/or demonstrating sensitivity to operational concerns

Demonstrated ability to debug, fix, and optimize code

Full-stack troubleshooting skills across network, application, hardware, management fabric, and distributed services layers
