The Program Manager, Community Health, will join a dynamic team seeking to assist IU Health to reach its 10 year goal to improve the health of the state of Indiana with particular focus on tobacco use. This position will lead Tobacco Treatment programming and the Tobacco Treatment Collaborative across the IU Health system as we expand access to tobacco treatment for our patients.The incumbent will drive strategic planning for the system and lead the development of sustainable documented processes to support tobacco use initiatives, as well as guide and support the local implementation of tobacco use programs. The position will also design and initiate collaborations, support external relationships and funding opportunities, as well as report on progress and clinical performance improvement opportunities to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a passion for a smoke free tomorrow, is organized, action oriented and an adept communicator and willing to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree preferred.
Clinical licensure or RN is required.
5-7 years of relevant clinical experience is required, including 3-5 years of relevant program management experience.
Requires experience managing multiple complex projects involving multiple customers.
Requires knowledge of state of the art clinical care, research and education.
Requires demonstrated proficiency in addressing and understanding organizational and system complexities.
Requires demonstrated knowledge and expertise of quality improvement methodologies.
Requires demonstrated proficiency in the use of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Incumbent will be expected to learn SQL.
