In this key role, you will be a Product Owner within a product development team building the next generation of products which support our members and clinical teams. You will lead product discovery and definition, creating and delivering successful business and product strategies from whiteboard to market scale. Your will live in a highly collaborative, delivery-focused team environment and will be equally at home interviewing a member, pitching to a customer, and building a prototype with engineering and UX colleagues to test with our user base.

Success in the role requires you to support and enable the success of your team, develop stellar cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization, and demonstrate strong technical skills and business acumen. You should have a keen sense of personal accountability and be excited by the challenge of working in an Agile and innovative environment. You should also have a track record in similar environments, preferably product, but project will do as well. If you know what CBT means and understand both big data and HIPAA, that is a definite plus!

To you, balancing viability, desirability, and feasibility is not an esoteric concept, but rather the obsession that drives your daily war against mediocrity. Basically, your qualification for this job is proven experience leading the creation and delivery of successful technology-based products or services from idea to market success. Your objective is to create a product vision based on deep understanding of valuable unmet needs in the market. If you have done this before, , you know what this is all about, but here are the specifics.

Responsibilities:
Be a Product Owner for multiple related scrum teams (e.g., product development and tier 3 support).
Drive vision & strategy, roadmap and product lifecycle for a distinct area of the Catasys portfolio of products & solutions.
Be a domain/business expert for the portfolio to guide and mentor teams, and establish/refine product management processes.
Work cross functionally across engineering, marketing, sales, internal and external customers, analysts and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy.
Establish strong working relationship with account managers, technical sales and user/developer community.
Domestic travel required as necessary.
Will have strong financial acumen and accountability.
Responsible to create strong working relationship & influence across product management, engineering and other stakeholder groups to successfully execute business strategy across Catasys, partners, and customers.
Will engage customers as a trusted partner.
Focus more on delivery and results rather than ideology
Work with management and other leaders to continually identify and implement team process improvements
Participate in the leadership, transparency and visibility for the Product Development organization
Desired Education & Experience
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Technical Skills

A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product
Experience with distributed teams
5+ years experience in agile development methodologies at scale, specifically SAFe, Scrum, Lean and/or Kanban
Experience with Aha!, and something like Jira, Rally or Version One
Experience with Story Mapping concepts
