Summary:
Corrosion Engineering is seeking a Machine Operator who will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring the quality of products, and maintaining a safe work environment.
This position is a temp to hire position. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Early morning shift. Monday - Thursday (10-12 hour shifts). Fridays and overtime when necessary (depending on company needs). Training for the position will be provided.
Our facility is a medium/ heavy industrial environment and IS NOT climate controlled; those who are opposed to working in the natural environment conditions of Arizona generally are not strong candidates for production/ manufacturing positions.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand on your feet for standard 10-12 hour shifts
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to kneel, bend, squat and twist to perform required duties
- Excellent hand/eye coordination( mandatory for positions working with sharp instruments)
- Willingness to handle sharp tools such as utility knives and other cutting tools to assemble and cut raw materials
- Operate a variety of hand tools
- Ability to read a tape measure with accuracy is a MUST for some positions
Requirements:
- Experience with press machines and mechanical knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in press operation, programming, machining, and assembly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to work in a hot environment for 10-12 hour shifts.
- Ability to stand on your feet for 10-12 hour shifts
- Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Able to kneel, bend, and squat to perform required duties
- Able to drive a forklift is a MUST
- Punctuality and reliability
- U.S citizenship is required
