We are a company located in Hendersonville, TN that offers promotional/branded products to our corporate clients. We are seeking someone with experience in specifying and sourcing promotional products. Salary will be commensurate with your experience. Candidates should meet the following criteria:
Qualifications/Requirements
- Expert at sourcing, negotiating prices on promotional products
- Experience working with overseas suppliers
- Ability to cultivate new suppliers, and optimize relations with existing vendor
- Proficiency with computer applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Possess exceptional follow-up and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate sound, independent judgment in all phases of position
- Be able to handle multiple projects at once with tight deadlines
- Experience/Education
- Experience in an advertising specialty environment
- Experience in sales and marketing
- Experience in PPAI or ASI (MUST)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Determine from written descriptions or supplied images the specifications of products to be priced and purchased
- Research and identify vendors and suppliers who can produce the item in the most cost effective and timely manner
- Work with our graphic director to create product mock ups that meet our customer's needs
- Use our ERP system to create purchase orders for products and send to vendors ensuring the product specifications, details, delivery date and quoted costs are all clearly identified
- Use our ERP system to creat quotes, sales orders, and invoice the customer
- Be familiar with SAGE, PPAI and/or ASI
- Ability to provide references from suppliers with whom you've worked is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
