External Job Description:
As a Sr. Producer, Live Events, you will work with a group of insanely talented individuals and have the opportunity to develop creative for some incredible Fortune 500 brands, shepherding the process through event completion. In this mid-senior level role, you will work across internal GMR work groups, clients, venues, vendors, and other stakeholders to shepherd the process from initial concepts to event completion.
To thrive in this role, you will utilize your experience in production, building techniques, and operational logistics to bring our creative and design projects into reality. This role will allow you to push the limits, challenge the status quo, and engage the vendors to produce beyond all expectations.

Event Production. You have experience developing project scope, plans, and budget estimates, as needed for clients and prospective clients. You have extensive experience producing large-scale events such as concerts, live shows, pavilions, and hospitality experiences.You will work cross-functionally with GMR Creative and Account teams to develop new projects to create and implement new and existing programs.
Logistics and fabrication. You understand construction materials and methods: hardware and assembly. You know printing and signage materials, processes & procedures. You will build and manage the run of the show- coordinating logistics and working with our fabrication team to develop event experiences. You have previous experience in a technical direction or operations-type role.
Concept and design. You have a strong aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of what makes a successful experiential design and activation. You use your industry knowledge to improve processes, proactively driving the entire team more efficiently. You will take the initiative to understand and enhance the design intent through production and implementation.
Vendor and onsite event management. You can confidently select vendors based on the Creative team’s pre-determined criteria. You are comfortable making onsite creative decisions rooted in the approved design direction. You will help explain the visual representations (design decks) to vendors, venues, and clients and translate them into reality.
System proficiency. You will join our team with a previous understanding of Microsoft Office and Mac software. Extra points if you are familiar with CAD, Vectorworks, and Sketchup software.
Travel. Although we are a virtual-first team, you must be willing to travel internationally and domestically - to client events and internal meetings.
