Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Manager Product Support position out of Edwards, CA. The successful candidate responsibilities will include supervisory or management responsibilities for technical data and training maintenance integrated support elements.
The candidate will be responsible for the daily operations of a team to involve direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs. Responsibilities also include cost, schedule, and technical performance of a small technical services-type contract.
Assigned work locations are Palmdale and Edwards AFB, CA.

Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience with Bachelor's Degree or 6 years with a Master's Degree. 12 years of experience may be used in lieu of education.
Ability to gain proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Captivate, Evolution Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) or similar training development software, and an ability to swiftly learn and become proficient with related software used for training development, project tracking, and presentations.
Ability to understand engineering data, technical manuals, and utilize subject matter experts, team members, and established processes to complete complex training materials, schedules, and related projects under very general supervision.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required for the position.
Analyzes current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs, develop training program, and plan, budget, and report status of training programs.
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel. Additionally, must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox.
Must have an active Secret DoD clearance with ability to maintain that clearance. Have the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.

Knowledge and/or proficien cy in the tasks of performing minor structural repairs and modifications, troubleshooting, servicing aircraft and engine system s, aircraft maintenance, rework and repair of electrical/electronic, mechanical, or instrumentation systems, and performing disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
